Padmasambhava – 10 inch 24k Part-gold Two-toned antique

Guru Rinpoche is the great tantric master who brought Vajrayana Buddhism to Tibet. Seated in royal ease, he embodies the union of wisdom and skillful means, radiating calm power and unwavering compassion.

This statue of Guru Padmasambhava has been carefully and beautifully crafted to reflect both the sacred form and the deep reverence held for the Lotus-Born Master. Known as the Second Buddha, Guru Rinpoche is the great teacher who tamed obstacles and established the Vajrayana path in Tibet, making the land ripe for Dharma to flourish.

The entire statue has been gilded partly in 24k gold, giving it a luminous and timeless presence. His robe is also finished in two-toned antique with the combination of blackish and brownish color. The engraving work is precise and refined, especially the traditional leaf motifs that adorn the borders of his robe each detail worked by hand with steady focus and care. His face is calm yet commanding, and his posture, known as royal ease, reflects his mastery and unshakable presence. In his right hand, he holds the vajra symbol of indestructible compassion and method while his left cradles a skullcup, resting in his lap. The trident-topped khatvanga leans against his left shoulder, signifying his union with wisdom.

More than a sculpture, this statue carries intention. It is made to be a support for devotion and meditation or those who remember Guru Rinpoche words: My form is illusion, my speech is silence, my mind is space.
