Description

Note: This is the exact piece you will be receiving

This 9-inch statue of Sadhakshari Lokeshvara, the four-armed manifestation of Avalokiteshvara and embodiment of the compassion of all Buddhas, is masterfully crafted from copper, fully gilded in 24k gold, with select areas delicately plated in silver.

Seated in vajra posture upon a double lotus base, Sadhakshari Lokeshvara’s principal hands are joined in anjali mudra at the heart, symbolizing boundless compassion and the inseparable unity of wisdom and method. His upper right hand holds a crystal rosary, representing unceasing activity in liberating beings from suffering, while his upper left hand holds a lotus flower, signifying pure wisdom arising unstained from the world.

The antique gold finish softens the gilding into a serene matte tone, easy on the eyes during extended sessions of prayer or meditation. The robe is adorned with intricate leaf motifs — the deep, defined borders gracefully framing the garment, while light, refined engravings bring texture and rhythm across its surface. The face, gilded and hand-painted with 24k gold, bears finely rendered eyes and lips that express tranquil compassion and gentle awareness.

For Dharma practitioners, this statue serves as an inspiring support for the recitation of the six-syllable mantra Om Mani Padme Hum and the cultivation of bodhicitta — the awakened heart of compassion. Crafted in Patan, Nepal, it embodies the timeless Newar artistry where devotion and mastery merge in perfect harmony.
