Moments of Place – From Nangchen to New York

by jamesgritz on November 19, 2009

With the holidays approaching I thought it would be a good time to share some photos of special moments for me from my travels in Asia and the U.S. and offer a couple of deals on prints. If you buy one print the second print you buy will be half price. Pricing can be found by clicking the Art Print Prices tab above or just use the drop down menu on the right (make sure to use the drop down half price to add the second print to your cart).

I had the great fortune of being one of the photographers covering His Holiness The 17th Karmapa’s historic visit to the U.S. in 2008. That was the first time the Indian government allowed him to travel abroad. I took the photo that is on this new issue of the Shambhala Sun while His Holiness was teaching in Boulder.

Half the proceeds from the Sherab Zangmo in Getchak, Tibet print will go to the Tsoknyi Nangchen Nun project. If you would like to browse through more galleries I have many.
